For the 14th consecutive year, the Black Forest Clock Association (VdS) based in Schonach organizes its annual election of “Cuckoo Clock of the year”.
Venue this year is the hiking information center in Baiersbronn.
On the 06.05.2015, the Baiersbronn city mayor, Mr. Michael Ruf, the Tourism director Mr. Patrick Schreib and the board of the VdS,Mr. Ingolf Haas opened this event and welcome the guest.
Around 35.000 guests are expected every year during the long hiking season.
During this time the visitors can vote for their personal favorite from the exhibited clocks per ballot.
13 very distinctive clocks, from classical to modern are displayed for election.
These clocks were manufactured by the companies, Helmut Kammere, Rombach & Haas, Anton Schneider, based in Schonach, Hönes from Titisee-Neustadt, August Schwer from Schönwald and Hubert Herr from Triberg and Engstler based in Villingen.
The clocks will be displayed at the hiking information center in Baiersbronn until October 20th, 2015.
